Derek Weed - Connections Pastor
Derek serves Hamilton village as a bivocational pastor; by day, he works at a local bank, and by night, he serves on the elder board and leads Hamilton Village's Link group ministry.
Derek was born and raised in central Indiana and moved to Hamilton County after he somehow tricked a beautiful nurse named Lori to marry him. Jesus saved Derek from a life of rebellion and religion in his early twenties, and he's passionate about seeing people's lives transformed by the same grace that transformed his life; leading HVC's Link groups is a natural passion for him.
He's an IU graduate and currently working on his Masters of Divinity at Southern Seminary. He loves spending time with his wife, playing and listening to music, studying and discussing theology, and most recently, following Atlanta Braves baseball.
